ลักษณะทางสัณฐานวิทยา :

- Small elongated carp with small mouth and barbels; dorsal fin slightly
high; scales small. Body and fins black or purple black with small spot
obove pectoral fin, dorsal fin with thin white edge, caudal fin bright red.
Attains 10 cm.
ระบบนิเวศ :

- Omnivorous, plant matter, small benthic animal and algae grazers.
Mainstream rivers and floodplains. Habitat lost and overfishing.
